DETOXIFICATION

Sweating is good for you. It is the body’s safe and natural way to heal and stay healthy. PRE SAUNA

Hydrate with at least 250 ml. of water to prepare your body for an increase in core temperature.

  • Pre-heat for approx. 30 minutes. Depending on room temperature, your sauna will heat up a degree 

 

SAUNA SESSIONS

The optimal infrared sauna experience occurs between 38° and 58°C.

  • To get your body accustomed to infrared therapy, start with 15 minute sessions at low temperature every other day.

  • Gradually increase towards 30-40 minute daily sessions in the optimal temperature range.*

  • Don't be surprised if you don't sweat during the first few sessions. Sweating will increase with regular use, removing toxins and leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

  • Listen to your body. Be aware of excessive detoxifying. If you begin to feel symptoms such as nausea, fatigue, or flu-like symptoms during your sauna session, discontinue use immediately. If these symptoms continue, consult your physician.

POST SAUNA SESSIONS

  • Dry off with a Bamboo Carbon Towel. Cool down naturally or with a refreshing shower

  • Drink at least 250 ml. of water or electrolyte to rehydrate.

RESERVATION

We strongly suggest that you make a reservation prior to your arrival. Reservations can be made online or by phone (02) 8544 1711 prior to the desired appointment.

 

ARRIVALS 

To make the most of your experience and support the benefits of your treatment, we recommend that you allow extra time prior to your scheduled time to enjoy our inviting wellness area. We ask our client’s to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled

 

HEALTH MATTERS

Please communicate health conditions such as high blood pressure, allergies, pregnancy, or any other health-related concerns you may have when making your appointment. We do not recommend the consumption of alcohol before or directly after spa treatments. Please consult your doctor before using the infrared sauna if under medical supervision or if you are taking medication.

 

For Mom's to be, we have specifically designed treatments to care for both of you. Please allow our therapists to guide you in selecting which treatments are most suitable for you during this special time.

We recommend that you drink lots of water after your spa treatment to help accelerate the elimination of toxins.

 

 

PREPARATION

Taking a shower before you use the sauna to remove dirt and oils is compulsory. Remove any metal jewelry. Metal conducts heat very efficiently and can heat up in the sauna to the point where it could be uncomfortable or even burn you. Please remove your contact lenses before you enter the sauna. The Sauna has to be entered without slippers and a towel has to be put onto the seats.

SPA ATTIRE

For your convenience, we will provide towels, shower caps, fresh towels and all amenities required for use during your visit. During all treatments, you will be properly draped for maximum privacy.


 

RESTS

You can lie down or sit in the sauna, but whatever position you choose, plan to relax. Close your eyes

if you like, breathe deeply and focus on letting the heat soak in and relax you. Remain there as long as you are comfortable, which can be as little as 5 minutes or as long as 20 minutes. If you start to feel dizzy or nauseous or have trouble breathing, leave the sauna for a cool place. Drink plenty of water prior and post sauna session.

RECOVER

Take a cool shower or ice bath, then rest on our terrace and allow your body to return to normal temperature. Don’t  run out and start rushing around right away. Drink some water or select a refreshing juice from our menu and enjoy this break from a busy day.

VALUABLES

We provide a secure place to store your personal items inside the studio locker cabinet.. However,

we do not assume any liability for personal items and recommend you leave valuables at home.

ALCOHOL & DRUGS

If you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, do not use the infrared sauna because the effects on your cardiovascular system can be increased. An intoxicated person may not pay attention to how much time has passed in the heat, or may not notice the early symptoms of over-heating, such as feeling lightheaded or nauseous.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to 50% the cost of the scheduled service. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service. We recognize the time of our clients and staff is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time.

 

When scheduling two or more appointments we require a credit card or gift certificate to guarantee

a reservation so please have your credit card and/or gift certificate ready when booking.

You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation or no show. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment.
