About The Event
- Vol.3 : FIND THE BEAT
We have been gathering around music, breath, movement, and the power of celebratory play under the open skies for a long time. It is hard to imagine that all over the world, drumming and dance have been illegal in the past century, suppressed or controlled to subdue this innate personal power.
This time Around the Kitchen Table we will celebrate with the Beat. Be ready to play Djembe with Master Drummer Mohamed Bangoura. Listen to stories of a Dancer, Mentor and Teacher Cat Santos and help us to make a difference for women in Uganda.
25 women will gather again for an evening of meaningful conversations, to connect to their creative power - the energy that generates ideas, to their wisdom and greatest joy.
Come and sit a little closer with women of all generations, with friends and those you never met before to share, eat soulful foods and sip on red wine.
